Mr. Furman represents business clients in a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters. He has experience in a variety of commercial litigation matters for clients ranging from individuals and start-up companies to large corporations. Mr. Furman has been involved in cases of fraud, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, securities fraud, insurance coverage, injunctions, oil and gas litigation, international trademarks, civil conspiracy, and other business torts in both state and federal courts in Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, West Virginia and Illinois. Mr. Furman has also counseled clients regarding international business transactions and loan and financing matters. Mr. Furman serves as general counsel to an e-commerce and technology company, and he has also represented clients in litigation related to land use and zoning, employment, commercial lease and construction disputes, and bankruptcy.
Mr. Furman served as a law clerk in both Chicago and Pittsburgh while in law school. Prior to his law career, Mr. Furman worked at the Duquesne Incline in Pittsburgh for ten years.
