Mr. Slavish practices in the areas of real estate, commercial and real estate finance, mergers and acquisitions and public finance. He represents buyers and sellers in the acquisition and disposition of business enterprises. He also represents developers, governmental entities and property owners in various types of commercial real estate projects involving purchases, sales, tax-free exchanges, leases, and conventional and tax-exempt financings. Mr. Slavish frequently advises lenders and borrowers in commercial loan and equipment leasing transactions, and he has also represented an agency of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in connection with loans for industrial and commercial development purposes. Mr. Slavish represents boards of directors and committees of independent directors on change of control and corporate governance issues, and he advises shareholders and other business owners on ownership and succession issues. Mr. Slavish has served as bond counsel for bond issues on behalf of various state and local governmental entities. Mr. Slavish serves as principal outside counsel for a variety of business entities.
