Sunah Park is a member of Thorp Reed & Armstrong, LLP's Commercial and Corporate Litigation Group. Her practice areas include commercial litigation and product liability defense. She has experience representing local, national and international clients in litigating business tort claims, commercial contract disputes, construction defect claims and general liability matters. Ms. Park has successfully argued motions in both Pennsylvania state and federal courts and negotiated favorable settlements in substantial contract disputes. She is proficient in Korean. Ms. Park is a member of Thorp Reed & Armstrong's Recruitment Committee.
Prior to law school, Ms. Park and her sister operated and managed a successful restaurant in downtown Philadelphia. In 2001, Ms. Park served as President of the Asian American Bar Association of the Delaware Valley, which serves a wide network of Asian Pacific American attorneys practicing in Philadelphia, Delaware and Southern New Jersey. In 2005, Ms. Park was named one of Pennsylvania's "Fast Track" lawyers and was appointed to the Editorial Board of the Legal Intelligencer, the oldest law journal in the United States, in 2006. She is currently serving her third term on the Pennsylvania House of Delegates, the Pennsylvania Bar Association's primary policy-making authority. Ms. Park also served two terms on the Pennsylvania Appellate Court Procedural Rules Committee, from 2001 to 2007. In 2006, Ms. Park was named a "Best Lawyer Under 40" by the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association. Additionally, Ms. Park was featured in an article in the Pennsylvania Rising Stars magazine in 2006 and was elected Editor-in-Chief of the Philadelphia Bar Reporter, the monthly publication of the Philadelphia Bar Association, in 2007. In 2008, Ms. Park was selected one of “40 Under 40” by the Philadelphia Business Journal.
