Mr. Carney, formerly a litigation partner and the Litigation Department Chairman, has been with Thorp Reed and Armstrong, LLP since 1966. He previously focused his practice in products liability, medical device, toxic tort, railroad, and commericial litigation. Mr. Carney now serves the firm in an Of Counsel relationship, supervising firm litigation, chairing various in-house committees, and assisting the firm with issues involving ethics and professionalism. In addition, Mr. Carney is an NASD Arbitrator. For several years, most recently in 2006, Mr. Carney has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer, an honor bestowed upon the top five percent of Pennsylvania lawyers.
